SOS Contracting & Trading is a fire protection engineering firm headquartered in Fifth Settlement, New Cairo. We design, supply, install, and commission NFPA-compliant fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and healthcare facilities across Egypt.
Our business is built on over two decades of accumulated field expertise — the kind earned by engineers who have personally designed hydraulic systems, navigated authority coordination, and commissioned life-safety infrastructure at national scale. We are not a trading company that subcontracts engineering. We are engineers who also build.

Most contractors in this market arrive on site with pipe and fittings. SOS arrives with hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, and authority coordination already completed.
Our process begins with hazard evaluation — understanding the facility's fire load, occupancy classification, and risk profile. From that foundation, we produce engineered designs compliant with the applicable NFPA standard. Only then does installation begin.
Hydraulic validation. Compliance alignment. Shop drawing approval. Material certification. Step-by-step testing. Formal commissioning. This is not optional procedure — it is our minimum standard for every project, regardless of scope or sector.

Shop Drawings & Submittals
Coordinated shop drawings, material submittals, and Civil Defense coordination — completed and approved before installation commences.
Installation & Integration
Field installation by our own technical teams, with active engineering oversight. System integration with building management, sprinkler, alarm, and suppression infrastructure.
Testing & Commissioning
Full functional testing, flow testing, alarm verification, and as-built documentation. Civil Defense inspection support and formal system handover.
